Trying Radio

Last week I went on a interview for a possible chance of joining my university's radio station. To my surprise and excitement I got a call back and was accepted into the program. On Wednesday we had our first training class for the radio station. Our training class was shockingly big, 51 students. Although we didn't do much on the first night; we got our picture take for the wall of shame, took a studio tour, and discussed the breakdown for the course.

Tomorrow morning I signed up for my first observation. Basically to the people in the booth, who I will be hanging out with for an hour tomorrow, I am known as a tracker. I come in, sit and check everything out without actually doing anything. It should be interesting. I'm not excited about getting up early to do it, but I had to sign up for that hour due to the very busy day tomorrow, which includes hours of sorority stuff. I'll definitely post my experience tomorrow!

Now think about this, in just a few weeks I will be on the radio live! Pretty sweet eh? The TV girl trying radio...why not! Oh, and did I mention that our radio station has the potential of being heard by 8 million people!? Awesome haha!

WR to the HU here I come.
