Hello there, and welcome!
As you can tell by now, my name is Katie Boudreau. I am currently a student at Hofstra University, where I am majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science.
This past summer I interned at ABC 40 and Fox 6, which are located back in my home state of Massachusetts. During my internship I was fortunate enough to get published several times on their website, which was amazing! You can learn more through my behind the internship blog. It was a great experience and I hope to intern at as many places as possible.
I'm really into media, any kind of form, but visual is always more fun. However, social media is growing on me with every day that passes. I'm a huge fan of twitter, facebook, blogging, photography, music and occasionally checking out digg (probably due to the fact that I have too many computer engineers from RPI in my life).
Other than that, someday I just want to change the world, or at least help someone in some way realize their dreams.
Life is too short to waste, and although I may be young, I'm ready to take every moment into my own hands and get my name out there. Who cares about age, I've got the experience and desire to learn and experience all that can come my way. So, give me a chance, please?
